Today, we're going to talk through deciding which WO creation methods you should use. To determine the best approach, consider the following questions:

Is the specific equipment known?

If the person reporting the issue may not be able to identify the specific piece of equipment, Case Management or Call Center might be the best starting points.

Is the caller listed as an employee?

Do you intend to take frequent requests from non-EAM users or people who are not employed by your organization? If so, the Call Center may be the best approach.

Are multiple observations expected before resolution?

If you anticipate that the issue will require several observations or updates before being resolved, Non-Conformities is likely the most appropriate method to use.
